Not directly programming books but I think at some point it will help most developers to read Tanenbaums “Modern Operating Systems” and “Computer Networks” because it gives you a really good understanding of the daily used infrastructure.

Goedel Escher Bach: A fascinating book and inspiring, definitely changed my thinking on some topics. I understand abstraction much better after reading it.
Have you read bits/have a copy of Donald Knuths “the art of computer programming?” I can’t say I’ve read it all, but it’s most certainly inspiring if you like that sort of encyclopedic book and lots of exercises.
