Thanks for sharing!!! Cool

I always attempt to get the work covered with the minimum required code, as long as it covers all the requirements. Otherwise I could spend weeks polishing code. Refactoring code is good and necessary, but spending hours and days polishing code is pointless. In the end, what satisfies me is that something is complete and it works – with the minimum amount of code needed to make it work. That’s it. I always keep that as my goal, and then if I have time, I can go and beautify everything to my heart’s content, if I feel like it.

This post helped opening the eyes of one of my coworkers, who just sent it to me.
It’s about a discussion about this issue we’ve had for some time now.

Don’t make me wrong… I love perfection. But with the years, I love it more when things get done!

Great post.
Cheers.

It is nice to know others think this way and appreciable that you share your suggestions about how to handle such situations.

Thanks
