Thanks for sharing the awesome list. I am going to read “The War of Art” in the next couple of days. One suggestion for you to must read – “The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma”. You won’t regret it even for a second in your lifetime. Really a life changing book.

The only book I didn’t see listed and I read is:
Mastery: The Keys to Success and Long-Term Fulfillment

It’s a short book but outstanding content. It goes well with the consistency philosophy you preach.

In reply to Michael Charland. I pretty much rely on my brain just taking it in. Sometimes I highlight Kindle books, but I rarely go back and look at the highlights. I listen to audio books multiple times though and it sinks in better. I should think about some kind of system though.

Wow long list, lots of interesting titles. Do you do anything special after you’ve read the book? I’ve done some note taking for some of the books I’ve read to try to help further drive the information in and it seems to be beneficial to review periodically, but it’s time consuming and I really don’t know if there is benefit from doing it.

I don’t take notes. I tend to listen to books at least twice–if they are good–so, that makes up for it and I just rely on my retention.nI read pretty fast, but I don’t speed read. Not sure I believe it’s really true. I’ve read mixed reports.nReally, 45 minutes a day or an hour of reading adds up to a lot over a year.
